We received this 2022 painting award for the painting of this beautiful heritage home in Altona which is close to Seddon. We have included a before and after shot for you. The significant preparation and painting together with the new modern colour scheme have really lifted this home from heavy and dark (see below) to light and airy. We completed substantial preparation including stripping of some paint and oil undercoated alot of the timber prior to painting. The first two photos are of the Melbourne Athenaeum. This is a truly historic building in Melbourne CBD. It required significant preparation to provide a stable surface to paint onto and has been totally transformed with the preparation and painting. This is a photo of a home we have painted in Seddon. The new paint job and colour scheme has transformed this property. Our painters worked hard preparing this property which included pressure washing, sanding and filling before painting to achieve such a great finish. Our clients are thrilled with the final result as are we.
This photo is of a period home in Spotswood where we painted both the interior and exterior. As with this type of home we undertook a lot of preparation filling cracks inside and electric sanding and filling timber on the exterior.
This photo is of a beautiful home we painted in Williamstown. Once again this is a period home as you can see from the high ceilings and detailing. As with the house in Seddon these properties generally require a lot of preparation with filling of cracks due to movement.
