We received a 2023 painting award for this fabulous home we painted in Northcote, very close to Preston. The rear of the house is a modern extension and the front original. Apart from the usual preparation of sanding, filling and gapping we also washed and sanded alot of oiled timber and brought it back to life using Sikkens Cetol HLS. Much of the timber was black or very weathered and we had to wash multiple times and sand prior to recoating. For more information on this project please click here to see our project page.
We received the above award for the painting of this fabulous 2-storey home in Kew. Substantial preparation was required as well as scaffolding for the 2nd-storey and organising of the power company to cover the power line. For more information on this please click here to see our project page.

Photos of a house we painted in Preston. It is an original weatherboard home with a modern extension. The original part of the house was in poor condition and we had to strip paint in areas as well as the usual preparation of electric sanding, filling, and gapping.
This is a beautiful heritage home in Brunswick that we painted. It required significant preparation as some timber was in poor condition. We also organised a carpenter to replace some timbers and we repaired some.

Photos of a lovely Victorian home we painted in Hawthorn following a major renovation. As expected we completed alot of preparation both inside and outside. For the exterior we painted in Classic Cream and Manor Red and inside we used Antique White USA for the walls and woodwork.

Preston 3072
Preston is a large Melbourne suburb located 9kms north of the CBD. It is part of the City of Darebin with a population of over 28,000 people.
Preston was originally called Irishtown. Church members from England wanted to change the name to Brighton, a town in their former home in Sussex but that name was already taken so they named it after Preston, a small village also in Sussex, where the church members had annual outings.
