We received this 2022 painting award for the painting of this beautiful heritage home in Ormond. We have included before and after shots for you. Significant preparation including some paint stripping, electric sanding and oil undercoating was required. We referred our clients to a carpenter so rotten timber could be replaced.

The 2020 Award is for the painting of this fabulous 2-storey home in Ormond. The Before shot is below and as you can see the transformation is amazing and our client is so happy. We pressure washed, stripped some paint, and filled and sanded prior to painting to achieve this result. We painted a few rooms inside as well. We received the above painting award in 2017 for the painting of this apartment block in East St Kilda. We sprayed most of the walls and we used scaffolding and booms to access the high areas. To see more photos of this project and others please click here.
These two photos are of a 2-storey weatherboard home in Ormond. The photos show the front and rear. A lot of preparation went into painting the exterior of this house including pressure washing, electric sanding and filling the timber.
Before and after shot of a window we stripped and painted in Ormond. We stripped, oil undercoated and painted multiple windows for our client as the condition was so poor we couldn’t just sand and paint. We often oil undercoat to try to prevent bubbling.

These 2 shots are from a beautiful heritage home we painted in Armadale. Significant preparation was required filling cracks and gaps to achieve this wonderful result.
Our final photo is of an art-deco apartment we painted in St. Kilda. We painted 3 of the 4 apartments in this block as well as the exterior.

“The Women at Work team was a pleasure to work with. They completed a challenging job on my windows under difficult weather conditions . I hired a lead hygienest due to the complex nature of the job and for lead paint removal advice and they were happy to follow his recommendations. Peelaway was used to remove the lead paint initially (a very difficult and time consuming process) followed by removing the remainder with a Hepa filter vacuum. All windows were protected to prevent any dust entering the home . As the windows were in poor condition Geoff the builder had to essentially reconstruct the windows – with the result looking like new! Geoff and Simon are true artists ! Alot of thought and planning went into the process but I am so happy with the results as I didn’t think the job was possible ! Greg even returned to do a final clean-up and so we could admire the final result which looked amazing. Thank you to all the team at Women at Work for your hard work. I am looking forward to completing the next set of windows soon.”
