We received the above award for the painting of this fabulous 2-storey home in Kew. Substantial preparation was required as well as scaffolding for the 2nd-storey and organising of the power company to cover the power line. For more information on this please click here to see our project page.
The first photo is of the Melbourne Athenaeum located in the Melbourne CBD, very close to North Melbourne. This is a true heritage building as can be seen from the detail in the photo. The building hadn’t been painted for a very long time and we spent a huge amount of time washing down and scraping back paint prior to painting. The building looks stunning now and has been transformed with this lovely colour scheme. We were awarded a painting award in 2016 for this project. Our next photo is of a cottage we painted in Port Melbourne. There are many houses like this in the inner Melbourne suburbs including North Melbourne. There is usually some detail painting required with the lacework and ornate features. More importantly we meed to allow sufficient time to prepare the surfaces prior to painting.
This interior shot is a bedroom of a stunning period home we painted in Brunswick East. The colour scheme was updated to Dulux Natural White which looks fantastic in this room and throughout the house.
This interior photo is from a townhouse we painted in Clifton Hill. We painted this townhouse first and our client was so happy he recommended us to the other owners when it came time to paint the exterior of the complex which we also painted – see photo below.
This is the exterior photo of the townhouse development in Clifton Hill we painted. We had to undercoat the walls prior to painting due to the rust showing through. We used a boom to access the high areas. A large part of these types of projects is communicating with the residents so everyone knows what’s happening.
