We received the above award for the painting of this fabulous 2-storey home in Kew. Substantial preparation was required as well as scaffolding for the 2nd-storey and organising of the power company to cover the power line. For more information on this please click here to see our project page.

These two photos are of the Melbourne Athenaeum located in the Melbourne CBD. We painted the front facade. The building hadn’t been painted for a long time so we had to spend a lot of time cleaning it down and scraping off loose paint before we could even think about painting. The building looks fabulous now with it’s makeover and the detailing that is highlighted with a second colour. We were awarded with an Excellence in Painting Award in 2016. These 2 photos are from a beautiful heritage home in Armadale. There are many ornate features including ceiling roses, cornices and woodwork as can be seen from the photos.

These photos are from Victorian Aids Council in South Yarra. We painted both the interior and exterior of the building at various times over a few years. The interior painting involved painting many stripes on walls throughout. The exterior was reasonably complex  due to the power lines and needing to use a boom on the footpath. This building was transformed after the painting.

This photo is from an art-deco apartment in St. Kilda East where we painted 3 or the 4 apartments and the exterior of the building. The apartments were renovated before we painted.

This shot is from a modern townhouse in Clifton Hill. We painted the interior and exterior of this townhouse. The preparation required here was much less than for the period homes above.

These last 2 photos are of render walls we painted at a house in Carlton. We used Porters Limewash and as you can see the colours are vivid and look fantastic. We had to wash down the areas first and undercoat with a special Limeproof undercoat so the existing colour streaks wouldn’t show through. We then applied the Limewash using a specific brush and applied it in a criss-cross motion to provide the textured finish. The pink and blue colours are Porters low-sheen acrylic.
