We received this 2023 award for the painting of this substantial 2-storey home in St Kilda East, close to South Yarra. It was in very poor condition with alot of bubbling and peeling so we had to strip alot of paint and oil undercoat prior to painting. Given the age of the property and condition of the paint work we followed our lead painting processes to protect everyone. Our client was thrilled with the outcome. The above photos are of the Malvern Heart Centre. We painted both the inside and outside following the renovation of this iconic building in Malvern East. This photo is of the Melbourne Athenaeum in the Melbourne CBD, some 3kms from Richmond. This is a fabulous heritage building that is iconic to Melbourne. We had to spend significant time cleaning and preparing the building before we could paint. We were presented with an Excellence in painting Award for this project. The following photos are of the Victorian Aids Council building in South Yarra. We painted there on a few occasions painting both the inside offices and exterior of the building.
Before
After: This South Yarra building was looking very tired prior to painting. We used a boom to access the high areas and had to organise council permits, power company permits and car parking (to stop people parking where we were using the boom). The building was transformed with some preparation and painting.
We also paint houses. This image is of a large 2-storey house in Toorak. It was a little complicated to paint due to the power lines and height. We obtained a permit from the power company and used a boom at the front of the house to access the 2nd-storey.
These 2 photos are from a gorgeous heritage home we painted in Armadale. We painted the interior and exterior and significant preparation was required to achieve this wonderful result.
These 3 photos are from an art-deco apartment building in St. Kilda East where we painted 3 of the 4 apartments and the exterior of the building. They are all stunning art-deco apartments with many ornate features throughout including varnished timber, ceiling mouldings and woodwork. As is often the case with these type of properties we had to fill a lot of cracks prior to painting.The apartments were renovated before we painted. We have painted art-deco properties similar to this in South Yarra.
