We received this 2023 award for the painting of this substantial 2-storey home in St Kilda East, a auburb very close to Caulfield and Caulfield North. It was in very poor condition with alot of bubbling and peeling so we had to strip paint and oil undercoat prior to painting. We received this 2022 painting award for the painting of this beautiful heritage home in McKinnon. We have included before and after shots for you. The quality preparation and painting together with the new modern colour scheme have really lifted this home from heavy and dark (see below) to light and airy. The above photos are of the Malvern Heart Centre. We painted both the inside and outside following the renovation of this iconic building in Malvern East. This photo is a period home in Caulfield North where we painted the exterior. A lot of detailed work was required with gables, fretwork and banisters and balustrading at the rear. This involved significant preparation such as filling, gapping and sanding.
The above photos are from a house we painted in Caulfield North. It is a period home with many beautiful ornate features. We had to carry out a lot of preparation before we could paint to achieve the great finish that we did.
The above 2 photos are of an art-deco apartment we painted in East St. Kilda. It was a large project incorporating both the exterior of the apartment block and the interior of 3 of the 4 apartments.

“The Women at Work team was a pleasure to work with. They completed a challenging job on my windows under difficult weather conditions . I hired a lead hygienest due to the complex nature of the job and for lead paint removal advice and they were happy to follow his recommendations. Peelaway was used to remove the lead paint initially (a very difficult and time consuming process) followed by removing the remainder with a Hepa filter vacuum. All windows were protected to prevent any dust entering the home . As the windows were in poor condition Geoff the builder had to essentially reconstruct the windows – with the result looking like new! Geoff and Simon are true artists ! Alot of thought and planning went into the process but I am so happy with the results as I didn’t think the job was possible ! Greg even returned to do a final clean-up and so we could admire the final result which looked amazing. Thank you to all the team at Women at Work for your hard work. I am looking forward to completing the next set of windows soon.”
